Here’s a closer look at how Calendar page works:
1. How to set up & customize the Calendar page?
- To create a Calendar page: go to Setting tab > choose Widget > Calendar Page > click Customize button
- To set up a new Calendar page
- Click Add new page button
- Calendar page name: Enter the calendar page name
- Calendar page type: Choose how you want the page to display:
- Service list view: Shows all available services
- Calendar view: Displays a calendar where customers can select a date to see available services
- Both views: Allows customers to switch between Service list view and Calendar view
- Service listed: choose which service will be listed in the widget
2. How to add the Calendar page to your website?
Step 1: After set up the Calendar page, find the Calendar page URL handle
- Calendar page URL handle: A link will be automatically generated after you set up a widget. Copy this link
Step 2: Create a New Page on Your Website (Learn more here):
- Go to Shopify Admin > Online Store > Pages
- Click Add page
- Set up the page with your preferred Title, Visibility, Template,…
Step 3: Add the New Page to Your Website Menu (Learn more here):
- Go to Shopify Admin > Online Store > Navigation
- Select your header menu (usually called “Main Menu”)
- Click Add menu item
- Label: Enter the name for the menu item
- Link: Select the page you just created for the Calendar Page
- Click Save
Step 4: Activate the Calendar Page on Your Website
- Go to Shopify Admin > Online Store > Theme > Click Customize
- Navigate to the page you just created for the Calendar Page
- Click Add block > Select Apps > Choose Meety Calendar Page
- Click on the new block to open the edit window, then paste the Calendar Page URL handle into the box
- Click Save
3. What does a Calendar page look like for Customers?
Once the Calendar Page is set up, customers can access it and choose between:
- Service List View: A complete list of your available services
- Calendar View: A calendar layout where they can select a date and see available services
