The overview Bookings tab shows all Upcoming, Past, Canceled and Subscription bookings as well as all the important metrics including: Date and time of appointments, Booking code, Service’s time slots, Customer name, Staff member in charge and Time the appointments were made.
The merchants can view, manage, and organize all customer bookings from a centralized booking management page.
1. Main Booking Categories
The top navigation provides access to different types of bookings:
- Booking: Manage regular standard bookings.
- Bundle: View and manage bundle bookings.
- Subscription: Manage bookings associated with subscriptions.
- Deposit: View bookings related to deposit payments.
- Waitlist: Manage customers who are waiting for available slots.
2. Booking Status Tabs
Within the Booking section, merchants can filter bookings by status:
- Upcoming: Displays bookings scheduled for the future.
- Past: Displays completed or past bookings.
- Cancelled: Displays cancelled bookings.
- Secured slots: Displays bookings with secured/reserved slots.
3. Booking Information
Each booking displays key information, including:
- Booking code: A unique code used to identify the booking.
- Service: The service associated with the booking.
- Order: The related Shopify order.
- Booking details: Displays the appointment time, date, and booking creation date.
- Staff: Shows the staff member assigned to the booking.
- Customer: Displays customer information, such as their name, email address and indicates how the booking was created, such as via website, a subscription, or a manual booking.
- Status: Displays the current booking and payment status, such as Approved and Unpaid, etc…
4. Search and Filter
- Search: Allows merchants to search for a specific booking by booking code, customer name/email/phone number.
- Filter: Allows merchants to filter the booking list based on available criteria.
- Checkboxes: Allow merchants to select individual or multiple bookings to bulk edit status.
5. Booking Actions
- Manage: Opens the booking details and allows merchants to manage or update the selected booking.
- Add manual booking: Allows merchants to create a booking manually on behalf of a customer.
- Export booking: Allows merchants to export booking data for further processing or reporting.
- Settings: Redirect to Settings tab (on left menu).
- Back to Dashboard: Return to the main Dashboard.
Purpose
The Bookings Management feature provides merchants with a centralized place to monitor booking statuses, view booking and customer details, manage bookings, create manual bookings, and export booking data.
