When you choose to repeat bookings by month or by year, the system offers 2 alignment options to better fit your scheduling needs: Repeat on the same calendar date and Repeat on the same day-of-week pattern.
1. Repeat on the same calendar date
The booking repeats on the same date number (1–31) of each month, or on the same date number in the same month each year.
This option is ideal for services that should recur on a fixed calendar date
How it works:
- Monthly example: A booking made on October 15 with a repeat cycle of every 1 month will repeat on November 15, December 15, and so on;
- Yearly example: A booking made on October 15, 2025, with a repeat cycle of every 1 year will repeat on October 15, 2026, October 15, 2027, and so on.
2. Repeat on the same day-of-week pattern
The booking repeats based on the same weekday and week position within the month or the year.
Special case: If a booking falls in the 5th week of a month and the following month has only 4 weeks, the system automatically schedules the repeat for the last same weekday of that month.
How it works:
- Repeat cycle set to every month: A booking made on Friday, the 5th week of October will repeat on the last Friday of November (since November only has 4 Fridays);
- Yearly Repeat cycle set to every 2 months: A booking made on Friday, the 4th week of November 2025 will repeat on Friday, the 4th week of January 2026;
- Repeat cycle set to every 1 year: A booking made on Friday, the 3rd week of October 2025 will repeat on Friday, the 3rd week of October 2026 on.
